Father Marc Montminy – Sacred Heart Parish in Manchester, NH

During the summer of 2012, Father Marc Montminy visited the United States for the first time. He is the tenth pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Manchester. He has spoken at parish missions and retreats in Minnesota, Arizona, New York, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Texas. He aims to bring a fresh vision and energy to the Parish. His homilies include those focusing on relationships, spirituality, and social justice.

The first parish he served was in Salem, NH. In that parish, Father Marc served as the pastor of St. Michael and St. Mary, respectively. His new assignment was requested by his predecessor, Father John C. Keough. The priest was assigned to Salem 43 years ago, as a newly ordained priest. The new church will celebrate its 50th anniversary in June. The Parish has been a home to the Montminy family since 1898.

After completing his PhD at Georgetown University, Father Marc was appointed pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in November 2009. Prior to this, he served as associate pastor at St. Mary parish in Newmarket. He was ordained on June 6th, 1987. While at Salem, he continued to serve as an associate pastor for the parish. He remained there for six years. In 2016, he was promoted to the position of parish administrator.

Afterwards, he transferred to St. Michael Parish in Exeter. He also commissioned the building of the Parish Center in the same town. While at the St. Michael Parish, Father Marc refurbished the interior woodwork in the Church and replaced the exterior doors. A beautiful cross graces the sanctuary. Before being assigned to Salem, Father Marc served as associate pastor at St. Mary Parish in Newmarket. He was the second of five children. Upon graduation from college, he was accepted as a priest candidate at St. Michael Seminary in Manchester. He was ordained in 1986 and served in this parish for six years. The former associate pastor had a passion for music and the parish was an ideal place for him to learn about the arts.

He was the second of five children at Ste. Marie Parish. After graduating from St. Anselm College, he was accepted as a candidate for the priesthood. In 1989, he was ordained at Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. He had previously served at St. Mary’s as an associate pastor for six years before coming to Salem. And that was not the end of Father Marc’s tenure at St. Michael Parish.

After being assigned as pastor of St. Mary Parish in Salem, Father Marc returned to his hometown of Salem to serve as its pastor. After serving at St. Michael Parish for nearly two decades, he requested the parish in Salem. He was originally assigned to Salem 43 years ago as a young priest. He returned to the area in 2006 and served as an assistant priest at St. Mary Church for four years. It was his first assignment as a ordained priest.

Earlier in his life, Father Marc had served at St. Mary Parish in Salem, NH for three years. He was the second pastor of St. Paul’s Parish. His first assignment as a priest was in Salem, NH, where he was born and raised. The parish was his home parish. In addition to the parish, he was assigned to St. Michael’s parish in Manchester, NH.

The Parish has been blessed with many blessings. The parish’s parishioners have grown spiritually and emotionally through the years. In addition to the remembrance of his beloved parish, Father Marc’s family is still present in the lives of his parishioners. In fact, it is his family’s history that has made him the most important priest in Salem. The church is a place of prayer and faith.

Father Marc Montminy has served as the parish’s 18th pastor. He is the third-generation pastor of the parish. Originally, St. Michael was founded to serve immigrants in the late 1800s. As the parish has grown, he was named to the post in 2010. In addition to being the eighth pastor, he served as the parish’s first associate in Plymouth. After Father Marc Montminy’s retirement, he is now the ninth pastor of the parish.

Father Marc Montminy - New Pastor of Saints Mary and Joesph

In 1977, Father Marc Montminy was assigned to Saint Joseph Parish, Salem. He served there for five years before leaving the priesthood in 1982. He returned to St. Joseph Parish in 2011 after 38 years. As the new pastor of Saints Mary & Joesph Parish, he hopes to bring a new vision to the church. Born in Berlin, N.H., he has three siblings. His twin brother, Paul, is also a priest.

Afterwards, Father Montminy spoke to the audience of about 75 young adults at a bar in Manchester. He explained how difficult it can be for Catholics to reconcile their faith with the demands of a secular world. For example, a priest must abstain from sex before marriage and cohabit with a woman before he can marry. He described how he had been a parish priest for over 20 years and found it difficult to be a priest in a changing culture.

The parish was founded in 1859 to serve the immigrants in New Hampshire. Its website notes its achievements under each pastor since that time. In 1859, St. Michael’s was an Italian-Catholic parish and served the surrounding towns. He later became co-director of the Manchester Christian Life Center and the founding president of Spiritual Renewal Services for the diocese of Manchester. In 1983, Father Montminy became assistant pastor of the Church of Ste. Marie in Mansfield. In 1989, he was given the pastorate of the church.

After retiring as pastor, Montminy joined St. Marie Parish, where he was named the tenth pastor. On July 31, 1995, he became the tenth pastor of St. Michael’s, a parish that is connected to St. Marie parish in Manchester. Eventually, he became a sister parish to Ste. Marie Parish. It also has an excellent reputation among young adults in the community. The church has always been an integral part of the community.

In his first year as pastor, Father Montminy was appointed to St. John Parish. He ordained on May 17, 1977 in the diocese of Manchester. He served as assistant pastor of Ste. Marie for five years. After that, he became director of the Office of Worship. He was then given the pastorate of Ste. Marie in 1988. It is the fifth Catholic parish in the city. He was born in Berlin, New Hampshire.

The Rev. Marc Montminy recently attended a program called “Theology on Tap” in Manchester, New Hampshire. The program aims to engage young adults in discussions about Catholic doctrine. After the presentation, the pastor was greeted by 75 people. During the conversation, Father Montminy answered questions related to sexual abuse scandals, cohabitation, and gay parishion issues. It was a memorable evening for both of them.

The diocese of Manchester had a special dinner for the priest, who was the tenth pastor. On July 31, 1995, Father Montminy was named as the tenth pastor of Ste. Marie Parish. In October, he gave his farewell speech. The parish’s priest was a Catholic who had a good heart for his community. His message was “Christianity on Tap,” and the program was very relevant to the church.

In addition to his sermons, Father Marc Montminy had hosted Theology on Tap in Manchester. The program’s goal was to engage young adults in discussion about Catholic doctrine. After the program, he and the audience enjoyed a Chivas Regal on the rocks. This conversation included topics such as homosexual parishioners, cohabitation, and the sexual abuse scandal in the clergy. He explained that he had been a gay parishion for five years and had experienced the sexual abuse scandal in the clergy. He also shared his insights on sex and marriage. After a divorce, Father Marc Montminy was moved to St. George Parish. He was replaced by his brother, who was the eighth pastor of Sacred Heart Parish. The parish continues to offer daily and weekend Masses in the church. They also have a youth group for middle and high school students. Additionally, the parish offers a wide variety of social outreach programs. In a recent article, he discussed his feelings about the death of his beloved son.
