How to Make a Cute Cow Print Ring

Did you ever see a cow wearing clothes? Probably not because unless you live in rural India or an African village, it’s unlikely that cows will be out walking around. However, you can create a cute cow print ring by following a few simple steps. All you need is some basic sewing and a printable template. The easiest way to make a printable template is to use Google. Type in “printable circular templates free” and then click on the images that show up on the page. In this blog post, we will show you how to make a cute cow print ring using only three materials: fabric, thread and scissors.

Fabric

You can use any fabric for your printable ring, but very thin fabrics like denim or cotton are best for printing because the ink will retain its color better. Cottons are especially great because they can be sourced from any fabric store and printed in any color. Worsted-knit fabrics like cotton, denim and even fuzzy wools are also great for printing because they are thin and crisp. Most fabric stores also have a wider variety of inks that have a wider color range, especially if you ask them to narrow their selection down for printing. For instance, if you are making a pink print ring, you can ask them to select a limited number of inks with pink or red hues. When choosing a fabric, think about how you want your ring to look. Do you want a more muted or bright print? How do you want your cow print ring to look? Is it simple and casual or fancy and elegant? These are some of the questions to ask yourself when picking your fabric.

Thread

Just like fabric inks, you can get thread in countless colors and hues. Unlike ink, thread is much thicker and stronger and can be used for many different applications. You can use it for sewing, binding edges, hemming, and many other things. When choosing thread, make sure it is strong enough to hold the fabric in place without tearing or breaking. You want something that has a similar strength to what you would find in an industrial sewing machine. However, thread is a lot cheaper than sewing machines, so you can also get something lighter if you don’t need something that is as strong.

Scissors

You can use any pair of scissors to make your printable ring, but we always suggest using a pair of fabric scissors. Fabric scissors are a lot better at cutting through fabric than paper scissors, which can create big jagged edges. When you are choosing a pair of scissors, make sure they are strong enough to cut through fabric like denim, denim cord, or corduroys.

Cutting the Template

The first step is cutting out your template. You can print it out from Google or cut it out of newsprint. The template will look something like this: To make a printable ring, you will need a piece of fabric about the same size as your ring. You can use any fabric you like, but be aware that the fabric will be visible after the printing process is complete. This would be best if you want to use a contrasting color or if the print is simple and not too intricate. Next, make sure you iron the template and the fabric to ensure that the fabric will be able to hold the ink. If you are using a light-colored fabric, you can iron it to make it a little darker or iron it on the wrong side if that would make it a bit darker.

Sew Together the Pieces to make the Ring

You can sew the printable pieces together using any suitable thread and a machine. However, if you are a beginner or the thread scares you, you can also hand-sew the pieces together. Start by ironing the back of the fabric piece and the paper template. Next, place the pieces with the printed side facing down. Sew the pieces together as shown below: The template will be a bit tricky to sew because it is hard to keep the paper in place while sewing. The best way to keep the paper in place is to turn the piece with the printed side facing down and then sew it from the back.

Add some Elastic for Comfort

If the ring is not too tight, you don’t have to add any elastic to the sewing process. However, if the ring is too snug and uncomfortable, you can add some elastic to the sewing process to make the ring more comfortable. To add elastic to the ring, start by hand-sewing either an opening or two small loops on two sides of the ring as shown below: Next, thread your elastic through the rings and then sew them together as shown below:

Showcase your new Ring!

Once you have finished the sewing process, you can play around with the print ring. You can wear it to show off your cow print, or you can wear it on your finger to show others what a talented seamstress you are! If you want your printable ring to last longer, you can iron the print ring on a cotton or polyester fabric and then wear it on your finger.
