There are several different pieces of presidential art available on the market. The President’s bust is one of these. It measures 3.25 inches wide, 2.75 inches deep, and 5.5 inches tall. It weighs just over a pound. The bust is a great gift for a presidential fan.
Keith Allen Johnson
Artist Keith Allen Johnson created a bronze bust of Trump in early 2016 and showed it to the candidate during a campaign stop in Atlanta. At the time, Trump praised the bust as “gorgeous” and said he would hang it in his office. Since then, afterball Johnson has painted and sculpted additional portraits of the president. He’s also envisioned a Trump monument for the future.
Johnson has already sculpted President Ronald Reagan and the former first lady, and his work is now part of the permanent collection in the presidential library. He has also created busts of JFK, George H.W. Bush, and Harry S. Truman. Sculpting Trump’s head, however, presented some unique challenges. The artist is now working on a full-body sculpture of Trump.
Johnson plans to build the Trump bust monument inside an enclosed building, a nod to Trump’s background in real estate development and to protect the centerpiece of the monument. He anticipates the structure to be privately funded. In addition to housing the bust, Johnson plans to create a museum inside it.
Eric Trump
The recent Eric Trump bust isn’t the first scandal involving the reality TV star. The president’s son is one of the most outrageously misguided figures in the U.S., dehumanizing women, Muslims, and immigrants. His moral compass is messed up and his actions are deplorable.
Eric Trump’s deposition on Monday was conducted under oath. It was part of a civil investigation into alleged fraudulent activity in the Trump Organization, a real estate firm Trump owns. Eric is a member of the executive team and is believed to be personally involved in a number of transactions under review.
Eric Trump told reporters Monday that the FBI raid on his Florida home had nothing to do with him, but in fact, he was the one who received the call about the raid. He also said that he told his father about the raid and blamed the White House for letting the investigation happen. Meanwhile, the White House said that they were unaware of the raid because they found out about it through Twitter.
Eric Trump grew up in the city of New York, attending the elite Trinity School and spending summers with his maternal grandparents in Czechoslovakia. His parents divorced when he was seven years old. However, he continued to live with his mother, Ivana, in New York City. Later on, he joined his older brother at Hill School.
Gov. Kristi Noem
Noem is a hard-right political candidate. She pushed for a state law to ban transgender girls from participating in high school sports, and she received praise from the religious right. In a recent tweet, she said she was “excited” to sign legislation to ban transgender girls from participating in women’s high school sports. And she recently built a $130,000 studio in the basement of the Capitol.
Noem, who was endorsed by former president Donald Trump on his campaign website, is now a prominent political figure in the state. She has even invited him to a July 3 fireworks celebration, and she’s been campaigning for him. It’s not a stretch to see Noem as a candidate for the presidency in 2024 or perhaps as a vice presidential candidate. Her persona and message seem to mesh with the Republican Party’s platform of “stopping the steal.” Noem is basically Trumpism with a cowgirl face.
Noem’s office contacted an art agent in Rapid City, South Dakota, afterball and asked if a replica of Mount Rushmore could be created. The replica measures 27 inches wide, 12 inches tall, and eight and a half inches deep. Noem’s office said the sculpture was paid for by private donors.
Sculptors Leuning and Treeby
After Trump was elected president, the Noem camp contacted Dallerie Davis, a real estate agent and art agent in Rapid City, South Dakota, who represents several South Dakota sculptors. Davis was able to secure two sculptors, Lee Leuning and Sherri Treeby, who work as a team in the city of Aberdeen. Noem’s office needed the statuette in a month, as the former President is scheduled to deliver a speech on July 3, 2020.
The bust has details that evoke the president, including his shirt collar and lapels, which makes him look like the president. The bust was placed on a wooden side table, alongside books and a MAGA cap. The room also had furnishings that recalled Trump’s time in office, including photos of the historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Treeby, who is a Trump supporter, told the Beast that she would vote for Trump if he ran again in 2024. Although Trump has not officially declared himself out of office yet, he has already incited a deadly attack on Congress and attempted to undo the election of Joe Biden, which he ultimately lost. However, she did say that she would vote for Noem and Ron DeSantis, who are battling in the polls.
Sherri Treeby and Lee Leuning have collaborated on several projects for the past 22 years. Their dedication and collaborative creativity have earned them national recognition for their creations. The artists have completed more than 70 life-size sculptures and are considered South Dakota’s most prolific bronze sculptors.
Former President Donald Trump
A collector’s piece for home and office, afterball the former president’s bust is expertly sculpted from gold-tone polyresin. Its base proudly states “Trump.” This unique sculpture measures 6 1/2″ high, 2″ wide and 3″ deep. The perfect size for a desk, bookshelf, credenza, or curi cabinet, this bust is a must-have. It’s one of only a few sculptures available for sale.
A search warrant issued by the FBI was executed at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago clubhouse on Monday. The search warrant gave agents the authority to seize presidential documents and other material, including possibly classified material. The search lasted 10 hours. During this time, the former president was not present at the property.
