The Ocean City Sentinel Retracted a Column by John McCall

The john mccall ocean city sentinel retracted a controversial column written by john McCall claiming two local elected officials had made death threats against him. This article was written by a guest columnist, not a staffer or paid contributor. It was published in an effort to promote the incoming Democratic administration. McCall, a former Republican Party chairman, did not name the two officials or provide any further details.

John Mccall is a Guest Columnist

The editor of the Ocean City Sentinel has apologized for publishing McCall’s column, but has declined to retract it. The newspaper has clarified that McCall is an unpaid guest columnist. He’s also asked for public support to retraction his column. Regardless, McCall should not be allowed to continue writing. His columns are full of insults and inflammatory language that will likely make people hate him.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew, a Republican from New Jersey, received a threatening voicemail from Ocean City Sentinel guest columnist John McCall. McCall had voted against accepting Pennsylvania and Arizona Electoral College votes for Donald Trump. The inflammatory column, which has received national attention, was published a day after the election. Van Drew called the Sentinel for an apology, but the editor refused to retract the column.

Earlier this week, U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew, a Democratic representative, claimed that a New Jersey guest columnist had threatened him with a gun. He held a news conference outside Cape May County Courthouse in New Jersey, where he revealed the threat. He was flanked by Cape May County Sheriff Bob Nolan. McCall claimed the threat was made by a “hateful person” and he was going to kill Van Drew. However, the Sentinel did not remove the column from its website.

McCall’s recent column about the threat to Van Drew’s life has drawn attention in the media. In the March 15 edition of the Sentinel, McCall was one of the guest columnists who received a death threat. Apparently, death threats have become a regular occurrence for congressmen. McCall is a longtime member of the New Jersey Press Association and an unpaid contributor to the Ocean City Sentinel.

He Made Death Threats Against Two Elected Officials

After a recent series of articles criticizing Gov. Van Drew, Sentinel editor john McCall issued a statement in which he called the two elected officials ‘traitors’ and called on them to “die.” McCall then went on to suggest that Van Drew’s wife be “forcibly grabbed in a similar manner.” In fact, McCall’s actual language is gruesome. In addition, he suggested that Van Drew’s wife be recorded while being ‘forcibly grabbed between the legs’.

Rep. Van Drew has since released the audio from the telephone call in which McCall threatened to kill Van Drew. The article also suggests that McCall and his wife have a history of sexual assault, which would be illegal in New Jersey. The article also mentions that the threats are becoming more common against congresspeople. The editors of the Ocean City Sentinel are investigating the threats.

In addition to Jeff Van Drew receiving death threats from an anonymous caller, an editor of the john mccall ocean city sentinel Sentinel also called Van Drew to apologize for his column. McCall’s column was critical of Van Drew’s support for Donald Trump and alleged that his death was justified by ‘pro-Van Drew robocalls.’ Despite the lack of evidence, Van Drew won the 2nd Congressional District in New Jersey last November. He later abandoned the Democratic Party and became a Republican. He said he could not support impeaching President Trump.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew, a Republican from New Jersey, told reporters that he would “press charges” against McCall and consult attorneys before filing a lawsuit. Van Drew said McCall did not “assail” him personally, but his words are “deeply disturbing.”

He is Not a Member of the New Jersey Press Association

The editor and publisher of the john mccall ocean city sentinel have apologized to Van Drew for publishing an opinion piece by a former employee of the paper. While the Sentinel declined to retract the article, they did clarify that McCall did not work for the newspaper and is an unpaid guest columnist. As a former U.S. representative, Van Drew had publicly criticized certified election results from Arizona and Pennsylvania for being biased. The newspaper reported that Van Drew was upset with McCall’s column and visited the editor of the paper. Van Drew’s reaction to the story isn’t the first time McCall has been accused of bias.

While the Sentinel does not own the Ocean City-based paper, it has been a member of the NJPA since 2007. McCall has written about local issues in the paper without being paid for his work. He was a guest columnist for the paper this year. He does not have a contract with the newspaper. Rather, he writes articles for the paper voluntarily.

Van Drew recently changed parties after a scandal involving the Ocean City Sentinel. The publication apologized to Van Drew after an angry constituent complained about the editorial column. After the publication removed the column, Van Drew’s office contacted him and said he had received a “death threat.” The Sentinel’s publisher apologized. It has been reported that the publisher of the Sentinel is a member of the New Jersey Press Association, but does not belong to it.

Earlier this month, U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew released an audio recording of an alleged death threat against the Ocean City Sentinel columnist. McCall’s column, “The Ocean City Sentinel is not a member of the New Jersey Press Association,” claimed the newspaper was a “fake news source.”

He is Not a Reporter or Editor

A recent letter published in the Ocean City Sentinel by author John McCall describes McCall as “a piece of garbage” and says the paper should retract the column. It is an example of editorializing without editing or reporting. The Sentinel apologized for publishing the column and the editor said that McCall was a guest writer and not an employee of the newspaper. Still, the controversy surrounding McCall’s article remains unresolved.

Among the most shocking statements john mccall ocean city sentinel makes in his article are his allegations that Van Drew is a traitor. He also suggests that Van Drew’s wife should be abused. While he claims to be an “embezzler,” he is not a reporter or editor. He writes his opinion columns as a guest. In January, the Sentinel published an article calling Van Drew a “treasonous traitor” and suggesting that he should be executed. The Ocean City police department did not respond to requests for comment, but did point to McCall’s article.

After the letter appeared in the Sentinel, U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew and Cape May County Sheriff Bob Nolan held a press conference outside of the Cape May County Courthouse in New Jersey. Van Drew named the columnist as John McCall Ocean City Sentinel. The Sentinel did not reprint the article and McCall’s identity remains unknown.

While Rep. Van Drew was a Republican, he switched parties and publicly condemned the Sentinel’s column. The Sentinel apologized and retracted the article. The publisher of the Sentinel said he knew the column was critical of Van Drew’s support for President Donald Trump but did not believe that it contained any threats of harm. Van Drew won the New Jersey 2nd Congressional District last year but he turned Republican after announcing his decision to run against Trump.
