Bayle Gelle and Dolal Idd’s Family Launch GoFundMe Campaign

When it comes to policing, no crime is more dangerous than an officer shooting a suspect. Minneapolis police chief led Bayle to City Hall and played body cam footage. Bayle, who is now a prominent lawyer, was shot in the chest and face. Despite his injuries, police still insist he was a threat to the public. However, the evidence points to a different story. The police officer who shot Bayle has been suspended from duty pending an investigation.

Dolal Idd

Dolal Idd, a 25-year-old African-American man from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, was shot and killed by police officers on December 30, 3030. His father, Bayle Gelle, also a 25-year-old, was with him when the incident occurred. The family is now raising funds through a GoFundMe page set up by Abdirahman Warsame.

In a recent undercover operation, police in Minneapolis, Minnesota, tried to arrest Dolal Idd outside a gas station. When the police surrounded Idd’s vehicle with squad cars, he opened fire on them with a pistol. A BCA investigation determined that Idd was protected from the police by firing a round of ammunition through his car’s closed driver’s side window, which was not marked. The use of deadly force was justified in the circumstances because the suspect was trying to protect a peace officer and another person.

During the traffic stop, Minneapolis police characterized the incident as a weapons investigation. At the time, Dolal was finishing his three-year probation for a drug offense. He had been taking classes at Normandale Community College. But police did not arrest him because he was on probation. Police also said that the shooting of Dolal had nothing to do with his previous crime. However, the family still wants justice for their sons.

Following an investigation, the family of Dolal Idd, a Somali-American, filed a lawsuit against the police officers. The case was reviewed by Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena, who found that the officers used deadly force to protect Idd and his family. A body camera video from the incident showed that the officers returned fire after Idd had fired at them. And the officers had two guns in the car with Idd.

Dolal Idd’s Father

On Wednesday evening, police killed 23-year-old Black man Dolal Idd in Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Police Department released body camera video of the shooting. The video shows Idd firing multiple times as officers tried to box him in. The video also shows officers trying to rescue Idd from his car. Dolal’s father is Bayle Gelle of Eden Prairie.

The police investigation into Idd’s death has been a long and difficult process. The first step was a high-risk search warrant executed by the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office at Idd’s home. His father, Bayle Gelle, complained about the search to a nonprofit newsroom, Sahan Journal. The investigation revealed that no ammunition or firearms were found, but the footage did show a young woman holding two guns.

In the case of Dolal Idd, the investigation was prompted by the death of Idd’s mother. After a long investigation, the BCA determined that Idd had fired a pistol through the driver’s side window of his vehicle. The use of deadly force was justified to protect a peace officer and another person. The case will now go to trial to determine the exact reason for the shooting.

Bayle Gelle son, Dolal Idd, was shot by police after a traffic stop. The suspect, who was convicted of murder, had a gun confiscated from him. Bayle Gelle’s supporters gathered outside the gas station and identified his son as the victim. Gelle was unaware that his son was dead. It was a terrifying time for Gelle and his family.

Dolal Idd’s Family

The family of Dolal Idd, a 23-year-old African-American from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help the grieving family. Dolal Idd’s family has spoken out against the shooting, arguing that the police officers’ actions were unjustifiable. Their son, brother, and friend died in the incident, and they want justice for him.

The police have denied the police officers’ use of deadly force. They cite a gun as the reason for shooting the victim. Nevertheless, the footage shows that the officer aimed and fired a gun at Idd’s vehicle. The gun was later found in the car. While the police have said that Mr. Idd fired first, activists say that the footage does not prove this. The family has also said that they have no information about Idd possessing a gun at the time of the shooting.

The video shows a BCA special agent entering the home and a few seconds after the deputies turn the scene over to the officer. It is unclear what the authorities were searching for during the raid, and the BCA has not provided details of their investigation. But they have scheduled a rally at the scene on Sunday at 2 p.m. Organizers are asking people to contribute to the GoFundMe page to support Dolal’s family.

The Minneapolis police fatally shot a Somali-American man on Dec. 30 in South Minneapolis. His death was the first documented MPD killing since the George Floyd shooting that sparked thousands of protests against police violence. The incident prompted multiracial protests in Minneapolis. The family of Dolal Idd and community members gathered at the gas station where Dolal Idd was shot and called for justice and an investigation. However, police raided the family just hours after the shooting and arrested his family.

Dolal Idd’s Death

Dolal Idd was a 23-year-old man from the Bayle Gelle neighborhood of Minneapolis. Police say they stopped him during a traffic stop because they were conducting a weapons investigation. He had just finished a three-year probation and was taking classes at the local community college when the shooting occurred. His death is a tragedy that has devastated the city of Bayle Gelle and many others across the nation.

An independent investigation conducted by Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena found that three Minneapolis police officers were legally justified in shooting Dolal Idd in December 2020. The officers had set up a fake gun purchase by an informant before they arrived at the scene. They were investigating Idd’s death for illegal weapon dealing. In addition to reviewing the body camera footage and investigative files, Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena found that the police officers had used deadly force during the confrontation.

Social media reports suggest that Idd was stopped by police for weapons and drugs when they were trying to arrest him outside a gas station. The officers surrounded Idd’s vehicle with squad cars. But Idd was already convicted of illegal possession of a gun in a public place in 2019. And he was banned from owning firearms. The use of deadly force by police was justified, as it protected another person and peace officer.

After hearing about the police killing of Dolal Idd, his family is urging the public to donate to a Go Fund Me account to cover funeral costs. Police have not identified the officer yet, but initial reports indicate that the victim fired first. It is not clear whether the police officer was targeting Dolal or shooting him as he approached his parents’ home in Eden Prairie.

Bayle Gelle’s search for Answers

A week after his son was murdered, Bayle Gelle is back at the scene of the crime in order to find answers. She demands that the Holiday Gas Station release all surveillance footage and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension answer the question of why deputies combed through her home at 2 a.m. Thursday. Then she finds out that her son was murdered by the Minneapolis police officers.

The police officer’s actions were documented on body-cams, and the video footage shows a cop’s handcuffs and a masked suspect running through the protest. Although Gelle has been looking for answers for months, it is apparent that police have given him very little. His wife and 11 children are devastated by the events. He has made it his mission to seek justice for his son.

The shooting occurred on December 30, 3030. The police officers involved shot Dolal Idd, a man suspected of a felony. The police chief said that a gun was found in the vehicle. Idd’s family members identified the victim as Dolal Idd, a 23-year-old Eden Prairie resident. Idd’s father, Bayle Gelle, questions the police account, and the chief met with the family before releasing the body camera video to the public. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is reviewing the shooting.
